Basudev Sharma Elected as President of Press Union Jajarkot chapter

The 5th district convention of the Nepal Press Union (NPU), Jajarkot Chapter has elected a 13-member working committee under the leadership of Basudev Sharma.

The convention held in R.R Bheri Green Hotel and Ludge, Khalanga, on Thrusday, picked  Sushil Singh (Open) and Tukamaya Gharti Panta (Woman) as the vice-presidents of the Jajarkot Chapter.

Among other nominated office-bearers in the new committee are Dil bahadur Khatri (secretary), Roshana Singh (joint-secretary) and Niroj Bishwokarma (treasurer).

Likewise, the members picked in the committee include Hemanta kumar Khatri, Prakash Rokaya,Bhim Bahadur Khadka,Prem BC (Differently able people) and Karija Khadka (Woman).

Also present on the occasion were Rajendra karki (Nepal Press Union Central Vice-President Karnali) as a Chief Guest,  RamChhaya Shahi (Nepali Congress, Karnali Province, Deputy-General Secrtary) as a Special Guest,  Khadka BC (Nepali Congress Jajarkot, Acting Chairperson) as a Guest and Prabir Dadel (Nepal Press Union Central Member) as a representative of Central Committee  among others.
